The Little Village Schoolhouse Preschool, Pre-K and Kindergarten is a quaint neighborhood school that is in it's 10th year and provides a stress-free, anxiety free learning environment for your child. ding adults with their Bachelors degrees and Certification in Early Childhood Education. We are proud of the fact that, for the past 5 consecutive years, The Little Village has received 100% positive, hand written, signed and dated letters from 100% of our parents. Prior to opening The Little Village Schoolhouse I had taught Sign Language, as a 2nd language, to hearing children in 52 preschools across the state. I had witnessed too many children's tears and tense, stressful classrooms. I knew there had to be a better way and I am proud to say that we have achieved it. Our Preschool and Kindergarten are overflowing with happy children. There are no tears in the morning upon arrival or during the day. The children are continuously praised, applauded, spoken softly to one on one at eye level, they are guided, redirected, appreciated, respected, given patience and understanding, they are hugged and given high 5's by each and every teacher in our school... because that is what children deserve and need. In addition to our excellent hands-on curriculum we also provide weekly programs in Spanish, Sign Language, Acro-Movement and two Music Programs.
