Bob Graham, who taught at SHS for 42 years, passed away today. His son stopped by to let us know and stated how much his father loved SHS. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Raymond E. Reilly Jr.
REILLY, JR., RAYMOND E.
of Smithfield, died Wednesday, Nov. 28th at the age of 77. He was the beloved husband of Joyce (McGuinness) Reilly for 55 years and the son of the late Raymond and Rita Reilly. A graduate of LaSalle Academy, he earned his bachelor's degree from Providence College and his masters from U.R.I. Ray was a dedicated educator for 35 years serving the towns of Smithfield, Coventry, and then as the Superintendent of the Foster-Glocester Regional School District winning the superintendent of the year award in 1997.
He was a Vietnam era veteran, a member of the Smithfield Elks and many other civic organizations throughout his life and was an active member of St. Philip parish. He enjoyed playing golf, gardening and traveling the world with his wife. He especially enjoyed his Irish heritage, visiting Ireland ten times with friends. He was a sports enthusiast, particularly of the PC Friars and N.E. Patriots.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, MaryAnne Hagopian (husband Steve), Jennifer Ramage, Raymond Reilly III (wife Jessica) and Colleen Gran (husband Adam). He was predeceased in death by his son Christopher.
He was the brother of Robert Reilly, William Reilly, Marie Church, and Eleanor Jordan and his beloved grandchildren, Christian, Keegan and Hayden Reilly, David and Christy Ramage and Christopher and Riley Gran.
Visiting hours Sunday Dec. 2nd in Anderson Winfield Home, Greenville from 4-8 p.m. Mass Monday, Dec. 3rd at 9:30 A.M. at St. Philip Church, Greenville. Martha M. Lacy of Andover, Massachusetts
June 1, 1950 - September 24, 2018
Martha M. Lacy, 68, of Andover, Mass., passed away on Sept. 24, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Providence, R.I. on June 1, 1950 to the late Milton and Irene (Tucker) Lacy.

Martha was a proud graduate Smithfield High School Class of 1968. She then attended the University of Rhode Island and was president of the Sigma Kappa sorority. After graduation, Martha shared her artistic skills in the graphic art industry and eventually opened her own business. When not working hard to provide for her children, she was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her friends. Most impressively of all, she managed to juggle these relationships, responsibilities and hobbies while fighting a heroic battle against juvenile diabetes for 58 years.

She is survived by her children, Erin Taylor and husband Richard of Andover; and Justin Rogacki and wife Greta Kaminski of Lawrence; as well as grandchildren, Aisling Taylor and Cameron Rogacki. She is also survived by her former husband Daniel J. Rogacki of Becket, Mass.; sisters Barbara Canning of Rhode Island and Elizabeth Foster of Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews. Martha was predeceased by her other sisters Mary Jane Madura and Nancy Dow.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Martha’s life on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third St., North Andover. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael Church, 196 Main St., North Andover.


In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her honor to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place Suite 745, Boston, MA 02215.
