We are seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing childcare teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education to join our center!

POSITIONS:
2's Classroom - 6:30 - 3:30
2's Classroom - 7:30 - 4:30
1's Classroom - 9:00 - 6:00
School Age Drivers - Split shift 6:30 - 9:00 am and 2:00 - 4:30 pm
Afternoon Floaters - 2:00 - 6:30 pm

PAY: Determined based on years of experience and education– ask us about tuition assistance and our education based-pay scale!

QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous Childcare or Early Childhood Education experience preferred, CPR certification (if not already certified we can help!), Satisfactory physician completed medical examination (Required before first day of employment), Negative Tuberculin Test dated within the past year (Required before first day of employment), DCDEE completed background check including fingerprints (Required before first day of employment)

We are trying to finalize our plans for our 2025/2026 school age program. If you have a school age student that is already enrolled or you are interested in enrolling a new student, please fill out the attached form as soon as possible!

We are trying to get a final headcount on numbers from each school, who will be attending AM and PM, and if we have enough interest to transport to Swift Creek Elementary.

Weather Update for Friday, February 21:

Due to the threat of icy roads in the early morning hours, The Ark Childcare will operate on a two hour delay. Doors will open for students at 8:30 am.

Important Announcement for Thursday, January 23:

Due to the continued threat of inclement weather, The Ark Childcare will operate on a delayed schedule tomorrow, January 23. Our center will open for students at 9:00 am.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, The Ark Childcare will be closed tomorrow, January 22. We will keep a close eye on the weather tomorrow and let you know as soon as possible regarding Thursday.

Due to the threat of severe weather tomorrow, Friday, January 10, we will be closing at 4:00 pm.

While we understand how frustrating winter weather can be, we want to ensure all of our parents, students, and staff are able to get home safely. In the event the weather starts to get bad earlier than anticipated and we have to close even earlier, we will call parents to let them know as soon as possible.

As students go home, we will be releasing staff, beginning with our staff who live furthest away. If you will be picking up earlier than 4, or keeping your child home for the day, please send us a message so we can make arrangements.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, we will be operating on a two hour delay on Tuesday, January 7th. We will be open to students at 8:30 am. A simplified breakfast will be served due to this schedule change.

School age transportation will run in accordance with school delays beginning at 8:30 am. If your child's school is NOT operating on a delay, please make alternative arrangements. If your child does NOT typically ride our buses in the morning, but needs care and transportation tomorrow due to the delay, please message us as soon as possible.

As a reminder, we typically follow Johnston County schools for the first day of a storm or suspected inclement weather.
