Exciting news! 🙌 We are proud to celebrate Daniel Pineda, recent graduate of South Johnston High School, who has been selected as a 2026 Golden LEAF Foundation Scholar! 🎓

Daniel is among a select group of students chosen from a competitive pool of over 1,400 applicants statewide. This scholarship provides up to $14,000 in tuition assistance over four years, supporting hard-working students from rural North Carolina communities.

Daniel plans to attend UNC-Chapel Hill and intends to major in Business Administration. Congratulations Daniel. Your JCPS family is so proud of you! 🎉
