Our preschoolers became official Circle Detectives last week! 🕵️🕵️‍♀️🫆They grabbed their magnify glasses and set off for an adventure around HLA searching high and low for circles! 👀 learning through exploration, movement, and a whole lot of FUN is definitely one of our favorite ways to learn! 💙💛

Today is Casual for a Cause day at HLA! Our Mariners traded their uniforms for cozy clothes and, more importantly, brought in food and toiletry donations to bless families in our community through the Alive Dream Center. The Alive Dream Center provides free groceries, clothing, and hygiene supplies and household essentials to individuals and families in need. The Alive Dream Center exists to meet the practical needs of people so that they can dream again. We love watching our Mariners learn that being a light isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we do. 💙🙏💙

Yesterday, Pastor Joe Thompson, from Smithfield Christian Church, led our students in chapel! We studied Mark 2:1-12 and Jesus demonstrating His divine authority to forgive of us of our sins, persistent faith and the importance of a supportive community! We are thankful for our time in chapel 🙏💙
