Unfortunately, the purpose of this message is to inform you that we will no longer be holding the Smithfield Vehicle Rescue Class annually. During our planning stage this year, it became apparent that our logistical needs could no longer be met. After careful contemplation and with deep regret we have decided to go out on top as last year's class was easily our most successful and would be impossible to replicate in our current situation.

We would like to thank everyone who has been involved either as a vendor, part of our logistics or management team or as an instructor.

There are some new opportunities we plan to pursue, but we don't yet know what that will look like for upcoming vehicle rescue training in Smithfield.

Thank you all for helping to build something great, we are deeply saddened to have to let it go

Thank you to all of the students who signed up for our January class. Today was the fastest our class has ever filled up, and we are all truly humbled by that. We are sorry we can’t accommodate more students, but we cap our class at 30 students to ensure that all students will have opportunities to work through our stations and practice new methods in a safe environment.

We are excited for our upcoming class, and all registered students should expect an email with further information in the near future.

Smithfield VFD Vehicle Rescue Weekend!!!

Reminder:

Registration for the Smithfield Vehicle Rescue class will open on October 13, 2023 @ 0900hrs . Reserve your spot ! Class will be held on Janruary 12- 14, 2024 from 08:00 to 17:00.

This year we have been fortunate to obtain multiple heavy vehicles to lift, move and stabilize. As always students will be given the opportunity to use cutting edge tools and techniques on common passenger vehicle's.

In addition to teaching stations involving stabilization, extrication and patient removal techniques, students will be presented with a full day of challenging and realistic scenarios.

Classes held in Smithfield historically fill up quickly and this class will be capped at 30 students to maximize student involvement.

Class Fee: $350.00 with lunch all three days.
