The beginning of a new school year is an exciting time, and we want to help every student start the year feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to learn. During the first two weeks of school, parents are invited to walk their child to class as they become familiar with their new surroundings and daily routine.
☑ Parent Walk-In Dates
August 19–28: During this time, parents are welcome to walk their child all the way to their classroom. We know that a great start makes a big difference, and those first few days can help students build confidence and ease any first-day jitters. Walking your child into the building helps them feel secure, supported, and ready for a successful day of learning.
☑Starting August 31, our normal morning procedures will begin:
🐎Parents may walk their child into the lobby only.
🐎Students will walk to their classrooms independently.
🐎All parents entering the building must use the front doors.
These procedures help students develop confidence and independence while ensuring a safe and efficient start to each school day.
☑Help Your Child Start the Year with Confidence
Here are a few ways you can help make the transition a positive one:
🐎Be Comfortable – A calm, encouraging start helps your child feel safe and ready to learn.
🐎Know Where to Go – Walk your child to their classroom during the designated walk-in period so they become familiar with the location.
🐎Know How to Get There – Practice the route together so your child feels confident navigating the school independently.
Thank you for partnering with us as we begin another exciting school year. Working together, we can help every student get off to a successful start!
