Our sixth grade ELA students jumped into a Real-World Grammar Fails group activity and absolutely crushed it! 💥 From spotting mistakes in everyday signs and ads to explaining the correct usage, they were laughing, debating, and sharpening those grammar skills like pros!

Our students had an amazing day at the Challenger Learning Center! 🚀✨ They put their engineering skills to the test with an Egg Drop challenge, traveled to Venus during an exciting space simulation, and wrapped up the day with an IMAX movie all about space. It was a fun, hands-on learning experience that sparked curiosity and teamwork! 🌍🛰️

Our 6th grade Life Skills elective class had a great time this week learning the basics of sewing! 🧵✨ A huge thank-you to Mrs. Brooke Smith for visiting our class and teaching students how to thread a needle, make simple stitches, and sew a button. She also helped us get started on our Christmas ornament projects. We’re so grateful for her time and talent! 🎄

Our 6th-grade students reviewed for their Ch. 9 Roaring 20s history test with a fun and challenging escape room! 🔐✨ They answered questions, solved puzzles, cracked codes, and finally unlocked the “safe” to earn their prize and “escape.” Such a great way to review and show what they’ve learned! 📚🕵️‍♂️

Our Life Skills elective class has been learning all about chickens as part of our Ag Unit! 🐔 Today, students explored the parts of an egg up close and discovered just how amazing these little shells really are. 🥚
