🕺 We Are Family here at SRU PCMEA! 🫶🏻

🎵 Last week we had the honor of kicking off our first meeting of the year with our guest speaker, Director of Bands, Dr. Jack Hontz! 🥁

💛 Dr. Hontz gave an inspiring talk about not only feeding our souls as musicians, but as people! Learning to appreciate what we do as art and how we want to impact our future students means understanding what music means to us as people! 🤝

‼️ In addition to the amazing talk, our E-Board was able to update our chapter about all the things coming up this semester and year, including the annual PA Music Ed Association Conference in Erie, PA! We can’t wait for our upcoming meetings and events this year!! 🙌
