📚✨ Our 1st Grade Spartans Brought the Dictionary to LIFE! ✨📚

In celebration of Dictionary Day on October 15th, our 1st graders turned vocabulary into a fun and creative parade! 🎉 Some students dressed up to represent their vocabulary words, while others brought their words to life through colorful illustrations! 🎨👗

What a fun way to build vocabulary, spark creativity, and show that learning can be an adventure! We loved seeing our little Spartans proudly showcase their words! 💚💛

Way to RISE, Spartans! 🛡️

💚💛 Learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends! 💚💛 (Shared with permission from the family in the video. Thanks to mom for sharing this with the teacher of this beautiful student. )

This video is a beautiful reminder of just how powerful parent involvement at home can be! 📚❤️

As educators, we work hard every day to build a strong foundation for our students, but the learning that happens at home is just as important. Whether it’s listening to your child read, practicing skills, helping with homework, or simply encouraging them to keep trying, YOUR involvement makes a difference!

It doesn’t have to be perfect, and it doesn’t have to take hours. Those small, consistent moments of support build confidence, strengthen skills, and show children that their education matters.

Teachers cannot do it alone, and parents shouldn’t have to either. When schools and families work together, our children WIN! 🏆

To all of our Abney families who continue the learning at home, THANK YOU! You are an essential part of your child’s success.

💚💛 Strong Schools + Supportive Families = Successful Spartans! 💚💛
