Mrs. McClure’s students had a blast exploring science with the Elephant Toothpaste Experiment! Students watched an exciting chemical reaction create a mountain of foamy “toothpaste” while making observations and discovering how ingredients can react when mixed together.

Mrs. Bridges’ 3rd grade students put their science skills into action as they discovered how magnets can move objects without even touching them! Through hands on exploration, our young scientists observed magnetic forces at work and made exciting discoveries along the way.

🦸‍♀️ Heggerty Heroes in Action! 🦸‍♂️

Ms. Thompson’s PreK class celebrated their Heggerty Hero Party today! 🎉 Our little learners had a SUPER time decorating their very own Heggerty Hero capes while celebrating their hard work and growing literacy skills! 💚💛

🌟 Habit 6: Synergize was in action as our Gators created, celebrated, and learned alongside one another. They showed that when we work and learn together, we can accomplish great things!

Mrs. Cawyer's class welcomed a special guest in class today. None other than our own Mr. Ron, who spoke with the students about his adventures up north on the railways. This served as a reinforcement to the ELA curriculum's tall tales of John Henry and Casey Jones.
Thank you Mr. Ron for bringing stories to life and creating a sense of adventure and excitement to our second graders.

🍬 Math in Action in Mrs. Montz’s Class! ➗

Students in Mrs. Montz’s class are building their understanding of division by creating equal groups. Through hand motions, math vocabulary, partner discussions, and a fun candy sorting example, students explored strategies for dividing objects into equal groups.

Ms. Bealer’s class made the most of indoor recess by practicing positional words like up and down through movement and play. Our little Gators are learning while having fun! 🐊💚💛

Mrs. Cawyer's kiddos back at it!! This time they are exploring cubic centimeters and engaging in hands-on learning. Students also simultaneously practiced their writing skills in comparing and contrasting their partner's values.
It was a great day of learning collaboratively.
