Homework doesn’t need to be a BATTLE in your home anymore ✅
So much of a student’s perspective about work and play is based on their surroundings.
That’s why when you try to do homework with them in the same house where they play, they often get frustrated and DISTRACTED.
Try changing up their environment!
That’s why we love tutoring outside the home.
We use a place where students know they come to do some SERIOUS work. There are no distractions and no expectations of play.
(Not to say there’s not FUN learning, trust me there’s plenty of that haha)
Another thing you can try is to bring your student to a coffee house after school for them to complete their homework there with you before going home.
This makes it where your home can be a true place of REST and PLAY for them.
