🌟 Celebrating an Incredible Year for MCC FFA – 2025‑2026 🌟
What a year it has been for the MCC FFA Chapter! From leadership development to competitive success, our members have truly gone above and beyond, and we couldn’t be prouder. 💙💛

🏅 Member Achievements
This year, we celebrated outstanding accomplishments across all levels, including Discovery Degrees, Greenhand Awards, Chapter Degrees, Star Greenhand honors, top fruit sales, merit scholarships, and senior recognitions. Our members demonstrated dedication, growth, and leadership at every step of their FFA journey.

🏆 Career & Leadership Success
MCC FFA teams and individuals earned impressive results at both the regional and state levels in a wide variety of CDEs, including floriculture, fish & wildlife, livestock evaluation, soils, parliamentary procedure, and more. Multiple teams earned Gold and Silver State Rankings, with many members recognized as Top Judges—a true testament to their preparation and hard work.

👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 Senior Celebration
We are incredibly proud of our graduating seniors and honored their families with honorary degrees in recognition of the support they’ve provided along the way. Your encouragement has made all the difference.

🧑‍✈️ Leadership Transition
We also celebrated the retirement of our 2025‑26 officer team and officially inducted our 2026‑27 officers. Thank you to our outgoing officers for their leadership and service, and best of luck to our new team as they continue to lead the chapter forward!

The Murray County Central FFA Chapter is excited to host our annual FFA Banquet on Friday, May 1st, at the 4‑H Building on the fairgrounds!

🕕 Awards begin at 6:00 PM
🏆 Celebrate our members as we recognize their hard work and achievements
🍨 Enjoy some delicious root beer floats

All FFA members and parents are invited to join us for a fun and memorable evening celebrating our chapter. We hope to see you there! 💙💛

🌟 MCC FFA Shines at the Minnesota FFA State Convention! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of the MCC FFA chapter members and teams who represented MCC at the Minnesota FFA State Convention! Their success is the result of countless hours of preparation, long practices, early mornings, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Competing against some of the best FFA members from across Minnesota, our students delivered outstanding performances across multiple Career and Leadership Development Events.

Even more impressive — individual scores from MCC students placed them in the top 99% in each category, a truly phenomenal achievement considering the depth of competition statewide.

• 🥈 2nd place overall out of 69 teams
• Competing against 351 individual participants

🌱 Soils
• 6th place out of 45 teams
• 157 individuals statewide

🐟 Fish & Wildlife
• 7th place out of 60 teams
• 221 individuals evaluated

🌸 Floriculture
• 9th place out of 46 teams
• 174 individuals competing

🐄 General Livestock
• 17th place out of 63 teams
• 236 individuals at the state level

🥩 Meats Evaluation
• 18th place out of 38 teams
• 133 individuals

🐔 Poultry Evaluation
• 19th place out of 44 teams
• 163 individuals

These results represent far more than rankings—they reflect dedication, teamwork, resilience, and a deep passion for agricultural education. Every student who competed should be proud of how they represented MCC and our FFA chapter.

Congrats to the Best Informed Greenhand team of Lilly Gertsema, Caroline Stoel, Morgan Heezen and Ethan Nelson who place 2nd at State !!!

MCC FFA was well represented at MN State FFA Convention. Teams competed the last 2 days in Poultry, Meat ID, Soils, Floriculture, Fish and Wildlife, General Livestock, a BIG Best Informed Greenhand. BIG team made the top 5 team and will find out their placing at the final session today.

MCC FFA holding their Drive Your Tractor to School day. They will be parading out of town today 4/16 at 2:50PM. The tractors are located by the track complex (South side) if you’re interested in driving by to check out the display.
