Prophetic Courage

Prophecy isn’t just hearing God — it’s acting on what He says.
Courage is the bridge between revelation and transformation.

“Do not merely listen to the word… do what it says.” — James 1:22

If you want to grow in prophetic clarity, my book Love and Brokenness shares my journey of hearing God and obeying Him. Link in bio.

Love That Listens

Listening is the first act of love. Before correction, before advice, before solutions — listening creates safety.
Today, I bless you with ears that hear and a heart that understands.
“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak…” — James 1:19

For deeper formation, my book Love and Brokenness explores how love transforms relationships. Link in bio.

Fresh Oxygen for Your Soul

There are moments when the soul feels foggy, heavy, or unclear. But Jesus breathes peace, not pressure.
Today, I bless you with fresh oxygen from the Holy Spirit — clarity for your mind, rest for your heart, and strength for your journey.

“He breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit.’” — John 20:22

If this resonates, my book Love and Brokenness goes deeper into healing, clarity, and spiritual formation. Link in bio.

A Full‑Circle Night With King’s X

Last week was something special — a full‑circle ⭕️ moment I didn’t expect to hit me as deeply as it did.

I went to see King’s X, one of my longtime favorite bands, and they absolutely rocked my face off!
The first time I saw them, I was a junior in high school… and now here I am in my fifties, feeling the same fire, the same joy, the same resonance in my spirit!

Through the decades, their music has been more than sound — it’s been formation, worship, prayer, and centering. Songs like “King” still give me goosebumps and awaken a warrior‑like passion for my living Christ.
The song “Mission” made me aspire to being True Love m my ministry and message to rough the decades.
Songs like “Shot of Love”have inspired me to lead groups into receiving the sacrament of communion.

And “It’s Love” has become a sonic mantra for my life and message.

What made the night even more meaningful was sharing it with my high school best friend Mike — the same friend who led me to Jesus 37 years ago — along with his fantastic son Matthew and caring girlfriend Julia.

Legacy. Friendship. Faith. Music.

It all converged into one unforgettable night.

If you’re interested in more of that story — my journey you can explore it in my book “Love and Brokenness,” available on Amazon or through the links in my bio.

When Love Meets the School Year

As I drove to school this morning, I felt the weight and the wonder of this new year settling in.

Students across the world are converging into classrooms — some coming from homes filled with love, support, and stability… and others walking in with hearts that carry more than they should.

I’ve heard it said:
“When a kid is loved at home, they come to school to learn.
When a kid is lacking love at home, they come to school to find it.”

Today, I prayed for every young person stepping into this season — that the Holy Spirit would breathe fresh oxygen into their souls… lifting the fog, dissolving the heaviness, and awakening hope.
And I prayed for us — parents, teachers, leaders, staff, and students — that a supernatural teamwork of love would emerge.

A culture where hearts expand.

A culture where capacity grows.

A culture where we steward this generation with tenderness, wisdom, and honor.

May this school year be filled with clarity, belonging, and the kind of love that helps young people thrive.

Love to you all. xoxo

Fresh Oxygen for Your Soul

I recorded a prayer today for everyone stepping into a new season — parents, students, educators, leaders, entrepreneurs, and dreamers.

New beginnings are beautiful… but they also bring change. And change can feel heavy.
May fresh oxygen fill your soul.
May the fog lift.
May clarity rise.
May strength return.
You belong. You matter. You’re supported.

Love to you all. xoxo

Family, we took new pictures this week — and it turned into something far more meaningful than we expected.
Our daughter Emi had it in her heart to capture memories as Ayden steps into his senior year playing football for Bates College. So we gathered, laughed, stumbled, fumbled, and tried our best to pose… and honestly, those behind‑the‑scenes moments might be my favorite part.
Ayden took every photo himself — following in his grandfather’s footsteps behind the lens — and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
And Kristi… she is the glue and the crown of our family. I could not be more blessed to walk through life with her.

Love to you all. xoxo

Some friendships sharpen you. Others steady you. And a few become family.

Grateful today for two men I deeply honor:

Ryan Libby — a committed husband and father, educator, Assistant Principal at Skowhegan Area High School, and Maine State Championship Coach. A leader who builds character first, achievement second.

Pastor Wayne Shirk — Senior Pastor at New Hope Assembly in Saugus, a father‑figure to many, a mentor to mentors, and a steady voice of wisdom in my life.

Both of these men wrote endorsements for my book Love and Brokenness, and their lives embody its message: love restores, honor strengthens, and relationships heal what isolation never could.

Honored to walk with brothers like these.
Honored to keep building this community of love.
