Tonight is the night - I am at Andy's Jazz Club leading my trio Jordan Baskin’s Utopia Trio from 10:30p-11:45p as part of their late night concert series. I’m very happy to have John Tate on bass and Neil Hemphill with me, we’re going to be playing some of my favorite blue note tunes and some of my originals. I would love to have some familiar folks in the audience— we will be playing throughout March and April on Sundays.

Extremely grateful and excited to be performing at the Green Mill Cocktail Lounge tonight and tomorrow January 20-21st 8-12a with the Todd Herbert Quartet:
Todd Herbert- tenor saxophone, Jordan Baskin-piano, Jeff Hamann-bass, Charles Rick Heath IV-drums (Friday) & Dana Hall-drums (Saturday). This will be my first public performance in a club since march 12 2020 and couldn't be happier to be sharing the stage with these heavyweights. If you haven't heard Todd play before and can’t make the show, check his playing out— he is an incredible musician

I started teaching myself electric bass about 18months ago and I can say Learning a new instrument is a humbling and gratifying experience that I have truly enjoyed! Special thanks to my good friends John Tate & Jeff Pedraz for tolerating all of my questions and thank you Tim Seisser for putting together my bass, I love it !
