This summer, our students are enjoying Therapy Thursday, a unique school-based therapeutic camp led by Occupational Therapists Lauren Cornejo and Dorrie Myers.

Each week features an exciting new theme, including Circus Carnival, Pirate Adventure, Ocean Day, Science Superheroes, and Sounds of Summer, designed to make learning engaging, meaningful, and fun. Each week, students participate in a cooking activity, hands-on sensory experiences, and engage in movement activities, all following the theme for the week!

Thank you to Zebra Pen for donating 8,000 colored pencils to Rock Brook School! Our students teamed up to sort, count, and package pencil sets for all of our classrooms, practicing math and teamwork along the way.

After a string of rainy Thursdays, the sunshine finally arrived and so did our High School students' long-awaited trip to Roycefield Swim Club. There were lots of smiles, laughter, swimming and time spent making wonderful summer memories with friends. We are so glad the weather finally cooperated for a fun-filled day in the sun!

Field Day at Rock Brook School was a hit! Today, our students enjoyed an exciting day filled with games, teamwork, laughter, and school spirit throughout the day's celebration! From fun outdoor activities to arts and crafts, our students had a wonderful time encouraging one another and participating in a variety of events.

Today our HS1, HS2, and Post Grad students enjoyed an awesome CBI trip! The day started with fun at the park, followed by a group lunch at Burger King. Afterwards, students practiced important travel training skills by taking the NJ Transit bus back to school. We are so proud of their teamwork, independence, and enthusiasm throughout the day!

Congratulations, Matilda! We are thrilled to share that Matilda Oranje, Post-Graduate Student, was honored with the Rebecca S. McDonald Award at Bellworks in Holmdel, NJ!
The Rebecca S. McDonald Award is presented to senior and/or aging-out students who have demonstrated outstanding success in transition activities as they prepare to move into the adult world. This recognition is a true reflection of Matilda's hard work, growth, and determination.

Our Middle School, High School, and Post-Graduate classes attended a live performance of Beauty and the Beast at The Pingry School.

Following the performance, our students had the opportunity to meet the cast, who are Pingry students, and enjoy lunch together. It was a wonderful experience and a great opportunity for social interaction and community engagement.
