Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:
1. Theyโre building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.
2. Theyโre starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if theyโre not reading just yet.
3. Theyโre showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.
Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can are a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
