For the FIRST TIME EVER, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have qualified not one, not two, but THREE CDE teams for the State Competition! 🏆🏆🏆
We could not be more proud of these students. The countless hours of studying, early morning practices, and sheer dedication they have poured into their events have truly paid off. You have set a new standard of excellence for our chapter, and your hard work is inspiring.

Chapter Farmer Livestock Judging- Emiliano Ayala (9th grade) - 9th place out of 272 students
Greenhand Livestock Judging: Yesenia Resendez( 9th grade) - 1st place out of 100 students
Senior Poultry Judging: Oziel Lopez - 8th place out of 140 students
Senior Vet Tech: Zoe Mendez - 9th place out of 185

A massive shout-out to our Greenhand Livestock Judging team! These freshmen and first-year members stepped up in a big way, clinching 🥈2nd Place Overall! The future of our chapter is looking incredibly bright. Also huge shout out to LBJ for placing 1st in Poultry judging. We are excited to represent UISD and Laredo at the Texas A&M CDEs next week. We couldn’t be prouder of how our members represented us. Next stop: STATE! 🐄🐓🐾
