Betty Eliason Child Care Center is currently hiring for a full-time caregiver in our infant classroom.

Our ideal infant teacher.
* Effectively communicator- great communication skills, both written and verbal
* Organized- pays close attention to details and keeps things arranged in a systematic way. This includes daily required cleaning.
* Accountable- willingness to accept responsibility for one’s actions
* Cautious- uses sound judgment when making decisions
* Patient- stays calm in all situations
* Motivated- enthusiastic and eager to get the job done
* Punctual- effectively prioritizes multiple tasks with excellent time management skills

Requirements for this position include
* 18+ years old
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Knowledgeable of safety practices for infants
* CPR and first aid certification or a willingness to become certified 
* Reliable transportation
* Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
* Willingness to comply with our company policy regarding background checks

Betty Eliason Child Care Center is gathering information from the community on the need for child care. We will be opening in the very near future and will be accepting new enrollments for full time care M-F 7:30am-5pm. We have implemented new policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of every child including daily health checks and a more in-depth classroom cleaning schedule. As the novel coronavirus (covid-19) continues to spread, we have made the tough decision to temporarily close Betty E starting March 16. At the end of the week, we will come together to re-evaluate the current situation.

We understand this decision impacts both families AND staff at Betty Eliason, but we believe this temporary closure is the responsible action to support the safety of our community. We will work to actively communicate updates as they become available.
