🍁🍎🎃 We’re So THANK-FALL! 🎃🍎🍁

There is SO much to be thankful for at Sissonville Elementary! ❤️🖤

Our entire school came together for a special project celebrating gratitude! Every student and staff member wrote something they are thankful for on a colorful pumpkin, apple, or fall leaf. 🍂

We combined everyone's responses to create this beautiful display of thankfulness! From family and friends to pets, teachers, and all the little things that bring us joy, each cutout represents something special to someone in our school family. 🥰

What makes this display even more meaningful is that EVERYONE at Sissonville Elementary has a little piece of themselves represented on our wall! ❤️

🍁 Over the next couple of months, our display will remain up for students, staff, and visitors to enjoy! As everyone walks through our hallways, they'll have the opportunity to see the many things that bring joy and gratitude to our school community. We hope it serves as a daily reminder of just how much we all have to be thankful for!

We are so proud of our Eagles and the kindness, gratitude, and appreciation they shared!

🍂 Grateful hearts make our school a wonderful place to be! 🍂

We have a lot of fun planned for October! Please note- we are not doing dress up days for Sissonville High’s Homecoming, other than red and black day. Instead, we will be participating in Red Ribbon Week at the end of October!

🚨IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS OF SISSONVILLE ELEMENTARY 🚨

Please be aware that squishy toys, including Nee Dohs, Dumplings, and similar items, are not permitted at school.

We have had multiple squishy toys rupture at school and on school buses. When these toys break, the internal compound can aggressively stick to skin, clothing, furniture, and bus surfaces, creating a significant cleanup and safety concern.

⚠️ Some squishy toys may also contain internal materials that can be toxic.

We are asking parents and guardians to please keep these items at home and not allow children to bring them to school.

Thank you for helping us keep Sissonville Elementary safe, clean, and ready for learning! 🏫💙

Please share this notice with other Sissonville Elementary families.
