Week one was filled with welcoming new staff and students to back to school. Our creative traffic cones - thank you for keeping us Always Safe! Every day each class begins with Morning Meeting, a time for speaking, listening, sharing and a class activity, our new librarian Mrs. Mendenhall is reading each day to our students and sharing specific information all about books and students checked out books on day one. Thank you in advance for returning all library books on time and continue to read, read, read!
Physical Education (P.E.) has daily procedures in place and music during activity time. All learners do need to have tennis shoes and socks to be safe and fully take part of activities in P.E.
Music class moved outside for a rhythm game and a student said, 'Dr. Moen call Paw Patrol.' 😊 We LOVE our children!
This week we will begin to announce perfect attendance classrooms. There were several last week, on time all day!
Our learners had smiles, good mornings, and we all remind one another that, 'Today is going to be a great day!' -Baylen Barse has made his mark with all of us, it has and is making a difference.

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL AUGUST 25, 2026

Doors open at 7:40am - Classrooms/lockers available at 8:00am.

Breakfast is served 7:40-8:15am - students dropped off before 8:00am are to go directly to the gym then to breakfast.

END OF DAY - School ends at 3:20pm
The PICK UP LINE will begin to move forward at 3:30pm - all students in the pick up line have priority for pick up. If planning to pick up your child(ren) - join the line as close to 3:30pm as possible to not have to wait. Thank you for your patience and for each to be 'always safe'.

Parents: You can pay for student meals online through your Campus Parent account. You can access your Campus Parent account online or through the Campus Parent app. Options for recurring payments are available weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, or when your student has a low balance. There is a $10 minimum online payment. Our online payment vendor has recently changed, so any prior recurring payments will need to be updated.

Families qualifying for Free/Reduced meals must complete and submit an updated 2026-27 Free and Reduced meal application. If a current, valid application is not on file, families are responsible for meal charges incurred until an application is approved and eligibility qualifications are met.

Dear Parents/Guardians of upcoming Kindergarten, 6th grade students, and students transferring in from an out-of-state school:
We are several weeks away from the start of a new school year! This is a friendly reminder to schedule your child's required immunizations. Please call your child's physician's office today to schedule an appointment. Don't forget to ask for an updated immunization list and kindly bring it to the school office to have on file.
