Responsibilities include:
Care and education of children
Curriculum and program development and delivery
Parent communication
Observe/monitor children’s activities and record observations
Instruct and assist children in personal habits such as eating, resting and toilet habits.
Support and guide children’s emotional and social development

Qualifications:
Experience in early childhood education preferred, but not required
Excellent communication skills required
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

I’m flooded with so many emotions that I really can’t find the words to explain how I’m feeling today and so I’m just going to leave it as this. After being in this business for 24 years, I’ve been blessed to have a lot of really wonderful relationships with children, families and staff. It’s now time to pass what I’ve built on to Shelley Porter and the St Croix Tribe. ✌️❤️

We’ve had a couple work anniversaries this past week!

Kayla has been a teacher with us for 3 years! She is the lead teacher in our Acorn room and is an absolute favorite of the children in her care!

Danielle has been with us for 5 years! She serves has our Senior Teacher who spends her time as admin and a teacher in the rooms.

Both ladies are very kind and caring to the children and are always open to talk with. Thank you for being a dedicated teacher to our families and children! We appreciate you!

Dean and I would like to announce that the Community Resource and Learning Center, along with Kid Central Early Learning Center in Siren will be under new ownership beginning September 29, 2023. The St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin will take over and continue to provide services to all families in our community.

We want to thank all of the families, past and present, for trusting us with the most precious people in your lives. It has been a joy to care for the children of our community for the past 24 years. We want to emphasize that we did not make this decision lightly. We have been considering this for quite some time, and this opportunity presented itself. The timing is right, so we decided to move ahead to our next chapter. We will continue ownership and management of our Kiddie Campus (Grantsburg) location.

Thank you so much to those who have supported us, our program, and our journey through the years. We wish the new ownership much success, and will do all we can to make this a seamless transition for our families and our community.
