🧵✨ The Cubby Hole Quilters Retreat! ✨🧵

Last week, the Cubby Hole Quilters packed up their sewing machines and headed to the Oak Forest Retreat Center in Frederic for four wonderful days of quilting, creativity, fellowship, and fun!

Nestled in the beautiful, secluded woods, Oak Forest is the perfect place to get away and let the creative magic happen. The retreat center offers comfortable, homey rooms, delicious meals, and spacious craft rooms where our quilters can spread out and work on their projects.

And there was plenty of creativity happening! Sewing machines and irons were in constant use as our quilters worked on beautiful bed quilts, baby quilts, centerpieces, table runners, and more! Each project is unique and made with plenty of creativity and love.

🌟 We also have some exciting news! 🌟
One of our own quilters, Diana, will be the Featured Quilter at the Webster Quilt Show on October 10–11 from 10 AM to 4:00 PM at Webster High School. Be sure to stop by and see her beautiful work!

The Cubby Hole Quilters typically meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at Siren Covenant Church in Siren.

🧵 Interested in sewing with us? Whether you're an experienced quilter or simply love to sew and create, we'd love to have you join us!

For more information, call or text Dori at (612) 240-8444.

🌸 What a wonderful Saturday morning at our Women’s Ministry Speaker Event this past weekend! 🌸

We were so blessed to spend the morning together enjoying a delicious brunch, connecting through fellowship, lifting our voices in worship, and being encouraged by our guest speaker, Jill Noble.

Jill shared a powerful and encouraging presentation on “When the Going Gets Tough – Persevering in Your Calling.” Her message reminded us that even when life gets difficult, God is faithful and He continues to call and equip us to persevere in what He has placed before us.

Our Women’s Ministry goal is to help women grow in their relationship with God, develop meaningful relationships through fellowship, and find opportunities to serve in our churches and community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special morning possible—from those who prepared our wonderful brunch to those who helped with worship, hospitality, setup, and all the behind-the-scenes details.

And a very special thank you to Jill for sharing her heart and encouraging us!

We are grateful for the time we shared together and pray that each woman left feeling encouraged, refreshed, and ready to keep persevering in her calling.

Our Mission Team is all ready for their trip to Albania! 🇦🇱✈️

So far this afternoon, they’ve successfully navigated TSA and are now waiting to board their flight to Frankfurt, where they’ll continue on to Albania!

Our team sends a heartfelt THANK YOU for all your prayers and support! 🙏❤️

Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they travel and serve the Lord in Albania. Pray for safe travels, good health, divine appointments, and that God would use them in powerful ways to share His love and the Gospel.

We’re excited to see how God works through this team! To God be the glory!

Commissioning Our Albania Mission Team! 🇦🇱

What a privilege it was to commission and pray over our mission team as they prepare to leave for Albania on Monday! We are so grateful for the opportunity to send them out with prayer and encouragement as they go to share the love of Christ and serve others.

A special thank you to our Hospitality Team for blessing us with a delicious Albanian-inspired lunch for fellowship after the service. The special soup and homemade bread were the perfect way to celebrate and support our team!

Please continue to keep our Albania mission team in your prayers as they travel, serve, share the Gospel, and allow God to work through them. “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” — Romans 10:15

The first ever gathering of Journey and Pathway youth! What a special night we had! We had great food: hotdogs, brats, chips, sweets, and Liana’s special Jello. We had a Bible study from James 4. We talked about what grace and humble meant and how important it is for us to support each other and hold ourselves accountable to each other. The leaders shared how important it is for us all to work together and that we all trust each other. Mmmm, nothing better than ending the evening with yummy S’mores! We had two VERY special guests that joined us-Pastor Brian and Marcy. We were grateful to have them come and share the night with us. We look forward to our next gathering. Thank you to all who brought something to share! We are off to a GREAT start!
