We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of the sponsors, volunteers, and participants who helped make our 2nd Annual Blizzard Hockey Golf Tournament such a success and congratulate all of our winners!

Without each and every one of you, today simply would not have been possible. Whether you sponsored the event, donated your time, participated in the tournament, or supported us in another way, your generosity and commitment mean more to our organization than we can express.

All proceeds from this year’s tournament will directly support our hockey program and our players, as well as our Save the Rink Fund. A portion of the funds raised will help pay for the new chillers recently installed at our rink—an important investment in keeping this facility operating for years to come.

Our rink is about more than hockey. It is a place for our players, families, and entire community to come together and enjoy a facility that can serve many different activities and uses. Your support helps ensure that we can continue providing these opportunities for current and future generations.
We are incredibly grateful to be part of a community that continues to step up and support our players, our rink, and one another.

🏒⛳ Hockey Season Starts on the Fairway! ⛳🏒

Some of you may or may not know that this year the Blizzard Varsity Hockey Blue Line Club's Annual Golf Tournament has teamed up with the Burnett Blizzard Youth Hockey Association! This means this fundraiser now supports hockey players of ALL ages throughout the Webster, Siren, Frederic, Luck, and Grantsburg school districts.

Now we need YOUR help!

⏰️ Tee Time at 11 AM

Right now, we have 12 teams registered, and our goal is at least 20 teams! Help us fill the course by spreading the word to your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors—anyone who enjoys a day on the golf course.

Last year we even had a team made up of varsity hockey players! This year, we'd love to see even more local athletes get involved—whether it's a team of our own hockey players, members of our school golf teams, or youth golfers who simply love being out on the course. This tournament is for all of our kids, and what better way to support them than by spending a fun day together on the fairways!

Don't worry if you're not a scratch golfer—this tournament is about much more than birdies and pars. It's about coming together as a hockey community, enjoying a fun day on the course, winning some awesome raffle baskets, making memories, and giving back to the players who proudly wear our local colors.

Today, we celebrate 250 years of freedom, courage, and the American spirit. As we gather with family and friends, we honor the heroes who have protected our nation's freedoms and the values that bring us together as one team.

Just like on the ice, success is built on hard work, sacrifice, and unity. We are proud to represent our community and grateful for the opportunity to play the game we love in the land of the free.
From our hockey family to yours, we wish everyone a safe and memorable Independence Day filled with pride, celebration, and plenty of red, white, and blue! 🇺🇸
