Dear Sioux Central Community,
As you may know, our middle school/high school principal, Mr. Jeff Scharn, is retiring after an incredible 39 years of dedication and service to our school district. Throughout his tenure, he has been a guiding light, shaping the lives of countless students and leaving an unforgettable mark on our community.
We would like to keep it a surprise, but to celebrate Mr. Scharn's remarkable career, we are collecting memories, stories, and well wishes from students/players, parents, faculty, and staff. Your experiences and reflections will be compiled into a special tribute to honor his legacy.
Whether it's a fond memory from your time at the school or on the field/court, a personal anecdote about how Mr. Scharn made a difference in your life, or simply a heartfelt thank you, we invite you to share your thoughts.
Please send your memories to [email protected] by May 13th or post/message on the Sioux Central Memories, so we can ensure that Mr. Scharn receives this heartfelt tribute before his retirement. They can be in written or video form, whichever is most comfortable for you.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating the incredible journey of Mr. Scharn and the impact he has had on our school community. Rarely does a principal commit to a district for nearly four decades, and Mr. Scharn has certainly made his presence felt. Let's ensure he doesn't depart without hearing just how much his contributions are valued and appreciated!
