Today, we wrapped up our last military lunch and learn of the year! Jefferson students had the opportunity to hear from our local Navy recruiter about military pathways. They enjoyed free pizza too!

All Jefferson students are invited to attend a visit to the Sioux Falls Metro Communications facility. The experience will include a guided tour of the state-of-the-art Metro/Fire/Police campus, along with hands-on activities such as a call simulator and dexterity training. Space is limited, so students are encouraged to sign up early. Registration forms are available in the counseling office or from your College & Career Advisor.

Our College and Career Access Team will be available in the commons during Parent Teacher Conferences to talk about all things post-graduation! This opportunity is for ALL Jefferson High School families who may want more information about college, technical school, military, or workforce pathways.

Students can join us for this lunch and learn featuring various community leaders in the field of journalistic media. This includes representatives from local news broadcasters, local videographers and photographers, and other media representatives. You won’t want to miss this opportunity! Lunch will be provided.

Sanford is hosting an educational event for juniors and seniors interested in the Build Dakota Scholarship opportunities at South Dakota Technical Colleges on Feb. 16th. It is a great opportunity for aspiring healthcare students to connect with Sanford as an industry partner!
