The CTE Academy is proud to partner with GreatLIFE Golf & Fitness on a unique project that brought together industry and education.

Our CTE Welding and Auto Technology programs worked with GreatLIFE to create a new golf range target for golfers to use while practicing their skills. This project showcases the hands-on learning opportunities made possible through strong community partnerships.

A special thank you to GreatLIFE for being a sponsor of the CTE Academy and for supporting career and technical education. Partnerships like this help provide students with meaningful experiences that connect learning to real-world applications and strengthen our community.

🩺🏥 Healthcare Camp is Off to a Great Start! 🏥🩺

Our Healthcare Camp, offered in partnership with Sanford Health and Southeast Technical College, is already providing campers with incredible hands-on experiences and career exploration opportunities!

After spending two days at the CTE Academy learning about a variety of healthcare careers, taking vital signs, practicing suturing skills, and exploring many other healthcare topics, campers headed to Southeast Technical College's campus for even more hands-on learning.

Today, students explored the Dental Assisting, Respiratory Therapy, and Medical Laboratory Technician programs, gaining firsthand insight into these in-demand healthcare professions.

These future healthcare professionals are well on their way to discovering whether a career in healthcare is the right fit for them—and having a great time while doing it!

💼🌟 AOF Interns Are Out for the Summer! 🌟💼

Our Academy of Finance interns are officially on the job this summer! We’re excited to spotlight our students interning with First National Bank, where they’ll be gaining valuable real-world experience, developing professional skills, and exploring careers in the financial industry.

This summer, these students will have the opportunity to learn from industry professionals, build their knowledge of banking and finance, and make meaningful connections that will help shape their future careers.

We are proud of their hard work and grateful to First National Bank for investing in the next generation of professionals!

Beginning June 8, students from across the region will participate in a week-long hands-on experience exploring television news production, reporting, writing, video production, and advertising.

We are proud to recognize:

Students were selected through an application and audition process that showcased their on-camera skills, coursework, and passion for a future career in television and media.
