due to the Sioux Falls District closing for extreme temperatures.

March Dr. Seuss and STEM fun! We had fun with this “floating fish” experiment! The kids learned that dry erase ink is less dense than the surrounding water, making our drawings buoyant.

Last week we celebrated National Pi Day! The kids learned the meaning of Pi and we held our third annual “Pie in the Face” Fundraiser!
Funds were raised for the non-profit ministry Arise Ukraine.
We surpassed our goal of $200 by raising $248 AND donations are still coming in😄 thank you FBCC families!
Funds will help with food and supplies for those in need.

Summer registration is live! Ages 5 (registered for Kindergarten) - age 12 are welcome for summer care.

We are so excited! First Baptist Childrens Center has been selected to participate in the South Dakota Quality Recognition and Information Systems (QRIS) Pilot. This program supports quality in childcare and after school programs in our area.
By participating in this research study, we have been awarded a grant that enabled us to purchase some fun and educational toys, games, gross motor and learning activities as well as some cozy floor chairs!

The Children’s Center will be closed tomorrow, Monday January 8th, due to the winter storm warning. Please take care and be safe!
