HSD elementary teachers are dedicating time this summer to reviewing and adopting new math curriculum resources, collaborating to ensure students have engaging, high-quality learning experiences. Their work now is helping build a strong foundation for student success in the upcoming school year and beyond. 🐾

Explorer Elementary thanks ALL who donated to, attended, and sponsored our Tigers on the Run Fundraiser! We raised $13,000 for our school, and we are so proud of how hard our students worked to fundraise and reach their lap goals during the run event.
We had an amazing morning of running, followed by a joy-filled afternoon of Culver’s Custard Sundaes! Our winning grade level, 4th grade, also earned the chance to SUNDAE THE PRINCIPAL!

Our students did an amazing job bringing history to life with their hard work, creativity, and dedication. We are so proud of each and every one of them for the effort they put into their presentations.

Explorer Elementary Student Council recently delivered all of our schoolwide pop tab collections to the Ronald McDonald House Charities! ❤️ Pop tabs are recycled to help raise funds that support families staying close to their children during medical treatment.

This year, Explorer participated in the statewide pop tab challenge and placed 3rd out of 29 schools/school districts with an amazing 345 pounds collected — and 1st among all Harrisburg elementary schools! 🎉

We are so proud of our students and thankful to everyone who donated to help support such an important cause!
