Irish Blessing

“May God give you… For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile, For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share, For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.”

Sharing this early video, in case you have not seen it (created by the last graduating class of Washington High School,1992).
As you can see in the video, they even had "modern equipment" (early computers), unlike what we had to work with, and this video still seems very dated.
Life has changed greatly since we first walked in those doors in 1975.
I recall the summer before our sophomore year, they were "modernizing" the window openings, removing the old mullion windows with brown inserts that blocked 2/3's of the opening for temperature efficiency (as seen in these images).
After the Pavilion was renovated, it took several more years of investment to replace the "modern" windows back to updated mullion style replacements that were a better representation of the original windows.

Visit the hallways, classrooms, offices, cafeteria, and more from the last days of old WHS downtown.
