Let’s be REALLY honest…

Making content is hard. 😂

Some days you feel inspired.
Some days you stare at your camera wondering why you’re doing this.
Some days you post something you worked forever on… and 12 people see it.

But you know what else is hard?

Marriage.

Marriage takes consistency when you don’t feel like it.
It takes vulnerability when you’d rather shut down.
It takes patience when you’re frustrated.
It takes humility when you know you’re wrong.
And it takes choosing connection over convenience—again and again.

And just like creating content…

you won’t see the results immediately.

But that doesn’t mean the work isn’t worth it.

So if you’re tired of creating, keep going.

And if you’re tired in your marriage, don’t assume tired means broken.

Progress over perfection.
Consistency over intensity.
Connection over pride.

Keep showing up. ❤️

And if you needed this reminder today, share it with someone who needs to hear it too.

POV: Your phone notification came at exactly the right time. 📱

“Hey… I know marriage has been hard lately.
But you’re going to be okay.
Keep choosing each other.”

Some seasons feel harder than others.
Don’t give up in the hard one. ❤️

Let’s be REAL… making videos for social media is HARD. 😂

Talking to a camera. Trying to sound natural. Wondering whether anyone is actually going to watch.

But I keep reminding myself why I’m doing it.

As a marriage therapist, I know that sometimes one small idea can change the way a couple sees each other.

Maybe a video helps someone start a conversation.

Maybe it reminds someone to say “thank you.”

Maybe it encourages a couple to pray together.

Maybe someone realizes, “We’re not the only ones struggling.”

And if that happens—even for one person—then every awkward video is worth it.

I’m not trying to create a perfect-looking marriage feed.

I want to talk about REAL marriage, REAL struggles, and REAL tools that can help.

If something I share helps your marriage, then I’ve done what I came here to do. ❤️

Prayer isn’t about having the perfect words. It’s about turning toward God—and turning toward each other.

Take a few minutes today to pray with your spouse. Pray for your marriage. Pray for each other. Pray for the things you’re walking through together.

Sometimes the simplest prayer can create a deeper connection than a long conversation.

Pause. Hold hands. Pray together. ❤️🙏

One Minute Marriage Skills: Pray With Your Partner 🙏

Marriage can be challenging, and sometimes we spend so much time talking to each other about our problems that we forget to bring those problems to God.

Take a few minutes to pray together.

Pray for your spouse. Pray for your family. Pray for wisdom, patience, forgiveness, and strength.

You don’t have to make it complicated. Even a simple prayer together can create connection and remind you both that God is at the center of your marriage.

Try it tonight: hold hands, take a minute, and pray together. ❤️

Hard decisions don’t always mean your marriage is failing.

Sometimes they mean you’re choosing to fight for something worth building.

“Marriage isn’t about always choosing the easy path. It’s about choosing each other—even when the right decision is hard.”

Choose honesty over avoidance.
Choose communication over silence.
Choose humility over being right.
And when the road gets difficult, remember why you started walking it together.

Every marriage will face difficult decisions.

Sometimes you’ll agree. Sometimes you won’t. And sometimes there won’t be a perfect solution.

When that happens, remember this:

Your spouse is not your opponent. They’re your teammate. ❤️

Instead of asking, “How do I get my way?” try asking:

“How can we make this decision together?”

Listen to understand.
Talk about what matters most.
Slow down when emotions are high.
Look for a third option.
And remember that protecting your connection is more important than winning an argument.

You may not always agree—but you can choose to face the decision together.

What’s one thing that helps you and your spouse make difficult decisions?

❤️ One Minute Marriage Skills: Assessing Your Mental Health

We often look at our marriage and ask, “What does my spouse need to change?”

But sometimes the more important question is:

“How am I doing?”

Our stress, exhaustion, anxiety, anger, and emotional well-being can influence the way we communicate, respond, and connect with our spouse.

Taking an honest look at yourself isn’t about blaming yourself. It’s about recognizing what you’re bringing into the relationship and taking responsibility for what you can change.

A healthy marriage starts with self-awareness. ❤️

Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Tony.

If you’re new here, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and share a little about what I hope to create here.

As a marriage therapist, I spend a lot of time talking with couples about communication, connection, conflict, intimacy, and the everyday choices that can either bring us closer together or slowly create distance.

I want to take some of those conversations and bring them here in a simple, practical, and relatable way.

You’ll see marriage tips, therapist POVs, real conversations, encouragement, and hopefully a few things that make you laugh along the way.

My goal isn’t to teach you how to have a perfect marriage. It’s to help couples build marriages that are healthier, stronger, more connected, and worth investing in.

Thanks for being here. I’m excited for what’s ahead. ❤️

A little appreciation can go a long way in marriage. ❤️

Today, send your spouse a text telling them one thing you’re grateful for.

Don’t overthink it. It doesn’t have to be poetic or profound.

Just be specific.

“I’m grateful for how hard you work for our family.”

“I’m grateful that you always make me laugh.”

“I’m grateful for the way you listen to me.”

“I’m grateful that I get to do life with you.”

Your spouse may already know you love them—but hearing why you appreciate them can mean so much.

Don’t just think it. Text it. ❤️

What is one thing your spouse does that you’re grateful for?
