Our kids meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm. Curious if Brazilian Jiu Jitsu might be a good fit for your kid? Bring them in, let them jump on the mats with us and give a couple classes a try!

Jiu Jitsu may be an individual journey, but no one gets better alone.

Every accomplishment on the mats is achieved alongside the people who show up, push us, challenge us and help us grow.

Peter said it best… none of us get where we are without the community around us. The achievement may be individual, but the journey is shared.

🟣 PURPLE BELT PROMOTION 🟣

Peter is one of the originals. He’s been with Devin since the very beginning, before we were even officially Midwest Martial Arts Academy.

It means a lot that you trusted the process and had the patience to stick with us while we were quite literally still building the walls of what we have today.

Peter is humble, knowledgeable, and a terrific teammate. He’s been an incredible asset to our gym from day one.

The crucible is tough, and as one of our older grapplers, Peter had no shortage of young guys lined up to give him some hard rounds. He pushed through every one of them and earned that purple belt.

We’re proud of you, Peter! Please join us in congratulating him!

Please join us in congratulating Mason on earning his blue belt tonight! This one has definitely been a long time coming. Mason has continued putting in the work while juggling school and staying active in competition.

And because he lost a bet at Great Shots, he got to celebrate with a 30 minute shark tank instead of the usual 20. 🫣😂

Join us in congratulating Atlas on earning his gray belt tonight!

Competition alone doesn’t earn promotions, but it can accelerate progression. It gives coaches the opportunity to see students apply their training under pressure, make real-time decisions, and showcase the skills they’ve been developing in the gym.

Atlas demonstrated solid technique, composure, and determination on the mats, while also displaying excellent sportsmanship throughout his matches.

Congratulations, Atlas! We’re proud of your hard work and excited to see how you continue to progress.
