Dear Morningside Families,

As the school year comes to a close, the Morningside PTA would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all parents, grandparents, and guardians who have supported us over the years—whether through fundraisers, monetary donations for activities such as the 5th grade parties, volunteering at PTA-sponsored events, or contributing to teacher luncheons. Your support has been invaluable and deeply appreciated.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that, effective at the end of this school year, the Morningside PTA will be dissolved. Over the past five years, we have observed a significant decline in participation across fundraising, event support, and volunteer efforts. This has left only three PTA board members to shoulder the responsibilities of supporting our students and staff.

As a result, starting in the fall of 2026, several traditional PTA-sponsored activities—including the Harvest Festival, Christmas for Kids, School Carnival, Talent Show, 5th Grade Party, and teacher luncheons—will no longer be offered.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed in any way throughout the years. While it is sad to see the PTA conclude, we hope you understand the reasoning behind this difficult decision.
