Here’s a video of one of the many great things we learned at our workshop last Saturday!! I just did this activity with my 4th graders today, and they LOVED it!

Alaina said it herself - you “never regret giving up a Saturday to be able to learn more about our what we do.”

Everything - from the community we build, learning how to do the same activities differently, and experiencing entirely new approaches to music teaching - will help you improve as a music educator.

🎶Meet Our 1st Presenter🎶

We are very excited to introduce Alaina Wilson as our first presenter for Sioux Valley Orff's September meeting! With 27 years of experience in education and a wealth of knowledge in both Kodály and Orff methodologies, Alaina brings a unique perspective to music education.

For her presentation, Alaina will be sharing a hodgepodge of Kodály, Orff, and UDL (Universal Design for Learning) - giving us lots of ideas, strategies, and inspiration to bring back to our own music classrooms! 🎵
