What does the Sioux City Preschool Initiative Provide:
Certified teacher in every classroom
Low student to teacher ratio of 1:10
A set curriculum
State verification that our program follows state standards
Regular Assessment and conferences to monitor your child's progress

Qualifying children must be Iowa residents and four years old by September 15 of that school year. Example: preschool students for the 2013-2014 school year must be four-years-old by September 15, 2013.

Last chance to participate in the district's summer scavenger hunt!

The first 20 students to turn in a completed sheet and can show their pictures for proof at Back-to-School Night will score a prize (first come, first served!)

The challenge, should you choose to accept it:
✅ Take a picture by your school's sign
✅ Take a picture at a public library
✅ Take a picture on a walk with family
✅ Take a picture with a friend
✅ Take a picture of two books you read this summer
✅ Take a picture doing something fun

KTIV will be packing the bus this week at Hy-Vee stores across Sioux City! Find the SCCSD school buses on these dates to donate to families in need:

July 28, 11am - 6:30pm | Hy-Vee at Southern Hills
July 29, 11am - 6:30pm | Hy-Vee on Gordon Drive
July 31, 11am - 6:30pm | Hy-Vee on Hamilton Blvd
