Jonah Snieder
2019-2020 Chapter President
As President this past school year Jonah took on many new and different roles. Even through the challenges of establishing a new chapter he kept everyone smiling.

“Hello, FFA members and friends I am Jonah Snieder your 2019-2020 Chapter President. Being president has meant a lot to me and has had an immense impact on my life. I am proud of what we have achieved in our first year as a chapter and I know we have much more to accomplish in the future. This next year I will be attending Dordt University in the study of business and I hope to own my own business one day. I appreciate the opportunity to be your president and hope to see our chapter do great things.”

As we approach the end of our virtual school year we would like to recognize our FFA officer team that has guided our chapter and members through many firsts for the Sioux City FFA Chapter. Through the successes and challenges they have kept pride for the FFA and helped spread a passion for agriculture.

First up:
Valerie Rosales
2019-2020 Chapter Reporter
Valerie focused on public relations and chapter awareness. She had many duties that came with establishing our chapter and tackled very task assigned to her.

“Hello fellow FFA members and friends! I am Valerie Rosales, your first ever 2019-2020 Chapter Reporter. Being in the FFA was a one-of-a-kind experience, it totally expanded my connections. I was extremely anxious when I first applied to become an officer, but my decision left me with no regrets. I am going to major in pre-veterinary medicine at Iowa State University this following year. I hope to become a farm vet when I grow up and wish to own a farm in the near future.”
