This Wednesday (Oct 5) is designated Fall Fitness Day and National Walk to School Day. Nodland staff and students will be participating in an all-school fitness activity from 1:30 to 2:00. Students will be gathering in front of the school and we will all begin a 30 minute walk. Our route will take us to the East High Track. Feel free to join us!

I want to welcome my student teacher, Mr. Monckton, to Nodland Elementary. He is originally from Sioux City and will be graduating from Wayne State College this December.

School has started! It was very nice seeing all the kids again.....and we have lots of fun stuff planned for the school year!

Field Day is Wednesday! We will be having it on East's track and field. See you there. Start time is approx 1245!

Started golfing this week at school. Program is called First Tee and equipment is provided by Juvenile Court Services. First day was successful....kids enjoyed it. I think we have some future golfers in our school!
