New face alert! 🚨 Help us welcome Seth Swedorski to the Warrior team!

Mr. Swedorski is married to Morgan, and they live in Orange City, IA. They have grown their family in the last year with the birth of a daughter, Leyton. They also have a Black Lab who loves to go for walks.

The Swedorskis love all things sports. Mr. Swedorski has coached football, basketball, baseball, and track in the last five years. This fall he will be on the Northwestern College football coaching staff, but he looks forward to coaching something at Sioux Center whenever the time is right. He is very relationship oriented and is looking forward to begin making connections with individuals and families in the Sioux Center community.

In his ~5 years of education, he has taught middle school social studies for a semester as a long-term substitute, served as a 1:1 paraprofessional in 3rd grade, taught high school health/PE and technology for two years, and high school special education for one year.

New face alert! 🚨 Help us welcome Matt Poto to the Warrior team!

Mr. Poto was born in South Korea and was primarily raised in Boston, Massachusetts, and Cody, Wyoming. He earned his Associate of Music degree from Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming, and his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Wyoming. He has a wife, Brittany, and a Maltipoo named Cooper.

This fall marks his sixth year as a band director after spending the past five years teaching in Rapid City, South Dakota. He has been fortunate to direct and perform with a variety of ensembles, including concert bands, jazz ensembles, marching bands, pit orchestras, pep bands, and symphony orchestras. This year, he will also serve as the conductor of the Campus Community Band at Dordt University.

When he's not teaching music, he enjoys reading, writing, hiking, biking, playing drums, listening to jazz, disc golf, paddleboarding, video games, and spending time with his wife and family. His Christian faith is an important part of his life and influences the way he strives to serve others each day.

New face alert! 🚨 Help us welcome Cody Groskreutz to the Warrior team!

Mr. Groskreutz might be a familiar face to some as he has previously coached wrestling and baseball at Sioux Center. This year he will be joining the high school staff & teaching physical science. He went to Northwestern College in Orange City & has previously taught three years at Hinton High School, as well as physical education at Sioux Center Christian School.

Mr. Groskreutz is married to Mallory & they have three kids Gunner (11), Jazzlynn (5), & Gianna (2). He enjoys being active with things like recreational sports, playing with his kids & outdoor activities like hunting & fishing. He also enjoys time with friends & family and especially with his church family.
