UPDATE!!!

Conducted my first couple of virtual lessons with a student that was willing to be my guinea pig. I think they are going extremely well, and I'm ready to add some more students to my "virtual studio."

I video chat via my facebook portal tv, which is absolutely amazing.

Here's what's required on the student's side if you're interested in virtual lessons.

A good internet connection
A good instrument to play (guitar or ukulele)
A reliable method of video-chatting via facebook messenger or WhatsApp (the larger the screen the better)
A 2nd device (preferably tablet, laptop, or desktop, but phone could work) for live instruction materials and practice via tools called Nearpod and Seesaw (They are amazing).

For local students, we can start virtual and switch as soon as possible to face to face lessons when it is reliably safe to do so!

I am in the process of taking down my old website—it is proving tricky so both my old site and new site are having some issues, but should be resolved soon! Ukulele and guitar lessons start in March! Can’t wait!

Had so much fun playing for the awesome summer readers at Slater Public Library! Lots of fun singing and dancing! I think between all the kids, they read something like 90,000 minutes this summer...Amazing!
