It’s never too early to think about preschool for this fall! Our 3 year old preschool runs Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30-11:30 at Rise Gymnastics from September to mid-May. Take a look at some of our fun! We built walls with fake ice cubes and shaving cream, experimented with baking soda and colored vinegar, and made graphs. Giant Legos and a campfire s’more set have been fun additions to our classroom!

We played a game where the preschoolers rolled a dice, told me the number, and matched it on their paper. I decided to challenge them so we rolled two dice, identified both numbers, found the higher number, and practiced counting on to find the total and cover that number. They learned that it’s okay to learn and practice tricky things!

This is just a glimpse into what your preschooler will experience in their year at Little Sprouts. Lots of hands-on, sometimes messy, always fun play! Message us to sign up today!

We are so grateful for our sponsors this year! Their generous donations have made it possible to lower the cost of our Wednesday class from $10 to $3. This has made it more affordable for all families to come and learn while they play! Families have come from Ireton, Le Mars, Ashton, Doon, Orange City, Rock Valley, Hull, Sioux Center, and Sanborn this year.

One of my favorite things to do as a teacher is go on field trips! This week we were able to visit Beaver Eye Care and learn all about eye exams. Dr. Clousing gave us quite the education! We finished off the morning playing in the STEM room at the library.

Field trip days are my favorite! We learned so much at pumpkin school, conquered the kiddie corn maze, saw the animals, picked a pumpkin, and had fun playing. So blessed to be able to take these sweet kiddos on adventures.
