Our kindness is hard to beat this fall! 😃🍂
These kiddos have worked so hard to show kindness through sharing, using kind words, taking turns and being helpful. We are so proud of how hard they have worked! Congrats to our Kind Kids of the Month!

A FALL BUCKET LIST is a great way to do activities as a family, and a perfect solution to a common phrase, "One day, we should do ______". But it never seems to happen or is forgotten about.

The first day of school can be scary for kids of all grade levels. Even kids who are excited to go back to school may still experience some nerves during the last days of summer. A new school year means new teachers, new classmates and new routines. Here are practical tips for how parents can ease first day of school jitters and set their child up for a successful school year.

🙂 Acknowledge Feelings: Let your child know it is normal to feel nervous or scared.
😎 Focus on the Positives: Talk about fun parts like seeing friends or learning new things.
👩‍🏫 Attend Meet Your Teacher/Back to School Night, or visit the school before the first day.
👕 Rehearse the Routine: Practice waking up early, getting dressed, and packing the backpack the night before.
🚗 Build Predictability: Walk through what the exact drop-off and pickup process will look like.
🤝 Create a Special Goodbye: Make a secret handshake or a unique phrase to use at the door.
🗒️ Pack a Hidden Reminder: Slip a tiny note, a family photo or a small token into their bag for reassurance.
🍿 Plan a Post-School Treat: Give them something fun to look forward to like a park visit or a special snack after dismissal.
