Sinton High School Academic Awards are tomorrow, Tuesday, at 9 am in the auditorium. Students receiving an award have been notified individually. We are Sinton Pirate proud of our students’ accomplishments and their awards. We would like to thank Sinton High School for inviting us to be a part of their 2023 Senior Engineering Project Presentations last week!

Our Coastal Bend Industry partners were very well represented with SAMSON GROUP, Gulf Coast Growth Ventures, Cheniere Energy Inc., The Chemours Company and Steel Dynamics Flat Roll Group participating and providing feedback to the students on some very impressive projects!

There was everything from a group of baseball players who presented a project that would save time and energy collecting baseballs after batting practice to a group that came up with a concept to create an oil tanker that would automatically eject tanks in the event of a fire to help prevent major oil spills.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again … the future of our workforce is right down the road at your local high school and they are doing amazing things! Go talk to them!!

Connecting industry to our high schools is what we are all about!! 🤘🏼
