Fire Drill Practice at Cathy’s Christian Preschool! 🔥🚒

It was a slow Monday, so it was the perfect day to practice our fire drill! The children got to practice what to do in case of an emergency and learn the importance of staying calm, listening to their teachers, and following directions.

Safety first, always! We want to make sure our little ones know what to do while keeping learning fun!

Today we had SO much fun experimenting with sink or float! The kids were so excited to make their predictions, test different objects, and see if they were right!

There were lots of surprises, laughs, and “I knew it!” moments as we explored, experimented, and learned together. They were so engaged and excited that I completely forgot to take pictures!

Sometimes the best learning moments are the ones where we are having way too much fun to stop and take a picture!

I’m so proud of my little scientists!

P is for Pumpkin!

Our preschoolers had so much fun getting creative with paper plates, construction paper, scissors, and glue to make their very own pumpkins! 🧡

We’re working on the letter P this week while also practicing those important scissor and fine-motor skills. ✂️🖍️ Glue, cut, create, and learn—what a fun way to learn!

We are so proud of our little artists and their pumpkin creations!

Letter I Scavenger Hunt

Today we went on a Letter I Scavenger Hunt! Our little explorers traveled all around the preschool, searching for clues and working together to figure out where to go next. They had so much fun hunting, exploring, and following the clues!

After searching high and low, they finally found the TREASURE… ICE CREAM! Of course, we had to choose a special treasure that started with our letter of the day—I is for ICE CREAM!

There was only 1 thing that we were sad about. We had some friends absent today. :((

Our Pre-K 4 students had so much fun practicing name recognition, letter matching, and fine-motor skills today!

Using Play-Doh, the children covered the letters in their names and matched letters to their name cards. This hands-on activity helps strengthen letter recognition, name awareness, hand muscles, coordination, and early writing skills—all while making learning FUN!

We love watching our little learners grow, learn, and build confidence one letter at a time!
