🥋 2026 METRO OPEN INTERNATIONAL – FEBRUARY 14 & 15! 🥋

🔥Get ready for two incredible days of competition at the 2026 METRO OPEN INTERNATIONAL, A USATKD PRELIM & USATKD 10.0 RANKING POINT EVENT bringing together athletes from across the region and beyond.

🧐Points earned at the 2026 Metro Open International count as USATKD Prelim Event points, which are combined with other Prelim Events (ie. State Championships) up to a maximum of 250 points — making it a smart move to SECURE YOUR USATKD PRELIM POINTS EARLY in the season before the Major USATKD events roll in.

This year’s event will be held in Newark, NJ and will include the following competition: • Forms • Sparring • Breaking • Weapons

Hello OTA Families,

Happy New Year! 🎉
We hope you had a wonderful and restful holiday season.

We’re excited to let you know that our Taekwondo Academy will be OPEN on Friday, January 2, as we officially return from our Christmas break.

The hardest part of fitness is not starting —
it’s starting again after a break.

That’s why January matters.

Coming back to class right away helps students:
• Rebuild healthy routines
• Regain focus and confidence
• Turn “I’ll start next week” into a real habit

You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to show up.

This Friday is not about intensity —
it’s about resetting the rhythm and starting the year with discipline, movement, and a positive mindset.
