Hello everyone!
Our CAS families should have all received a hard copy of our Childhood Cancer Awareness Newsletter in your child’s folder or backpack either last Thursday or Friday. This is a HUGE and super important mission for us at CAS. Please read our newsletter carefully and check out all of our planned activities and events for next week. We have dress up days for the children to participate in as well as a lemonade stand, a bake sale, a Clemson/Carolina competition, collections for the Riley Faith Foundation and Charlsie’s Angels (two missions founded by two of our very own CAS angels!) and our t-shirt sale! It would mean the world to us for you all to join our fight because in this school, NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE!

🐦💙 Well, friends and families… here we are. CAS Back-to-School Eve! 💙🐦

Tonight there are probably backpacks sitting by doors, little outfits laid out for morning, lunches being planned, alarms being set…and maybe a few excited butterflies in both little and big tummies. 🥹

So before you tuck your little bluebirds into bed tonight, we have a sweet little poem just for our CAS moms and dads.

Please know this: your babies will be loved. They will be cared for. They will be prayed over. And they will be surrounded by people who are so happy they are here. 💙

We are beyond honored that you have chosen The Christian Academy of Simpsonville and trusted us with the people who are most precious to you. We never take that trust for granted.

Get some rest tonight, CAS families. Tomorrow morning, our hallways come back to life—and I simply cannot wait to see those sweet faces walking through our doors! 🐦🌿✨

’Twas the night before school, and all through CAS,
The classrooms were waiting for morning at last.
The backpacks were ready, the outfits laid out,
And little bluebirds dreamed what tomorrow’s about. 🐦

From our tiniest babies, so precious and small,
To our big third graders—the leaders of all—
Our hallways are waiting, our classrooms are too,
For sweet smiling faces, both familiar and new.

The teachers have worked with such love and such care,
Making each classroom a wonderful place to share.
The crayons are waiting, the books are in rows,
And oh, what adventures this new school year holds!

There may be some butterflies, maybe a tear,
A hug held a little bit longer this year.
But Jesus goes with us wherever we roam,
And His love makes our school feel a little like home. ✝️💙

We’ll learn and we’ll giggle, we’ll pray and we’ll grow,
We’ll share Jesus’ love everywhere that we go.
We’ll practice being gentle and thoughtful and kind,

🎉 BIG NEWS from The Christian Academy of Simpsonville! 🎉

We are so excited to announce that our official CAS website is now live and searchable on Google! 🌐💙

A very special thank you goes to our own Katie Bright Lynes, who has poured countless hours into making this dream a reality. We are so grateful for her hard work, creativity, and dedication to our school!

While we’re using stock photos for now, everything else about the website is authentically CAS—reflecting our heart, our mission, and our continued growth. You’ll also find a Parent Portal, where we’ll be posting important forms, resources, and information for our families throughout the year.

This is an exciting milestone for our school and just one more step as we continue to grow and serve our amazing families!

Happy Sunday, August 2nd!
Tomorrow is our last packet pick up day held at the school from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. If you cannot make tomorrow, we will have them on Saturday at our Back to School Bash at the Discovery Island Waterpark!

Also - voting ends on Friday, Aug. 7th at 5:00 pm for the A-List Award for Best School (preschool, childcare) in Simpsonville. Please be sure to vote!!!! And please share the link with everyone you know and ask them to vote for us!

Exciting News!!!!
Thanks to all of you, The Christian Academy of Simpsonville is one of two finalists for The 2026 A-List Awards for best Education & Childcare!!! Now we need your votes!!!! Happy Monday everyone!

Just a couple of important things for you to know:

We absolutely MUST have your child’s up to date SC Form of Immunization and a copy of your child’s birth certificate (a sample of form is attached to this post!). These are mandatory and must be done prior to school starting. It would be huge if you could bring these when you come to pick up your child’s back to school packet on the following packet pick up days. Otherwise, you must bring these items to meet the teacher. We must have them before your child can start school.

We will be holding packet pick up days on the following dates:

Wednesday, July 22nd from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm
Tuesday, July 28th from 10:30 - 12:30
Monday, Aug. 3rd from 10:30 - 12:30
Then you can also pick them up at our Back to School Back on Sat., Aug. 8th from 5:45 ~ 7:45 at the Discovery Island Waterpark!

Hello !!!
We are in the process of finishing up our Back to School Packets. I am excited about sharing our 2026~2027 school calendar with you here. I will post age level supply lists tomorrow afternoon as well.
We plan to have packet pick up days posted by later this week.

I also would love it if you all would help to nominate our school for the Simpsonville Chamber of Commerce’s A List Awards. I personally (and yes, I may be biased, haha) think we have a very special program here at CAS and would love for us all to shout it from the mountain tops…..or from a nomination form! 😉 Here is the link:

Finally, I want to share that we are working with a great little company called Mabel’s Labels where you can purchase labels of all kinds for your child’s lunch boxes, water bottles, backpacks……all the items that need to be labeled for school. Check them out! Our school gets 20% percent of all sales back to us! We can keep this fundraiser open all school year long! Check their stuff out. It is super useful!
