This Friday was extra special at Bryson Elementary as we welcomed the Fountain Inn High Orchestra students for Fist Bump Friday!

The orchestra students played live music to greet our Bryson Bears this morning, setting such a fun and uplifting mood for the whole school day. Seeing our kids walk in with huge smiles while listening to live music was the absolute best way to start the weekend!

A huge thank you to the Fountain Inn High Orchestra for spending their morning with us and sharing their incredible talent! 💙

Making Our Mark on Dot Day! 🎨🔴

Today, Ms. Meier’s class celebrated International Dot Day, inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot!

Our students explored creativity and courage, learning that every big journey starts with just a simple mark. From vibrant dot artwork, to sharing to dot shaped snack time, everyone found a way to shine.

🏎️SCIENCE IN MOTION! 🏎️

Mrs. Merendas class was hard at work exploring the connection between energy and motion!
By building ramps out of textbooks and race tracks, students got hands-on experience seeing how height, gravity, and potential energy transform into kinetic energy and speed!
Amazing job, future engineers!

🦕🍩 DONUT-STRESS, THE DINOS ARE FED! 🍩🦕

Today in Mrs. Gault’s class, our little paleontologists read the fun story Dragons Love Tacos... wait, no, Dinosaurs Love Donuts!

After reading, our artists got busy crafting the sweetest, most colorful sprinkled donuts to host the ultimate Dinosaur Party! Check out their delicious creations!

🏎️ Mrs. Bomhold’s class had a blast today exploring the relationship between kinetic and potential energy during our Rocking Raceway science lab! Students learned how to identify and use both forms of energy as they designed and tested their racetracks. To finish the challenge, they teamed up to create as much potential energy as possible and see how fast they could make their car go! So much learning, teamwork, and fun! 🔋⚡
