Dear K5 Families,
We are so excited for our K5 Alphabet Parade this Friday, September 25 at 8:30 AM! We want to make sure everyone who plans to attend is ready to go when you arrive. Please take a moment to check your app for the K5 Alphabet Parade event ticket. The directions for this were emailed out last week. You will know you are fully registered and ready to attend when you see a green “Verified” badge on your ticket.

If you do NOT see the “Verified” badge yet, you still have one more step to complete! Please continue the registration process in the app, which requires:
📸 A picture of the front of your driver's license
📸 A picture of the back of your driver's license
🤳 A selfie taken in the app

Once your information has been submitted and verified, your event ticket should display the green “Verified” badge. Please see the attached graphic for examples of exactly what you should see in the app.

We strongly encourage you to complete this process before Friday so you are ready for a smooth entry when you arrive! If your app does not have your ticket available for you to claim Friday morning, you will need to have your license with you at a separate sign-in table.

We can't wait to celebrate our Kindergarten students and watch them show off their letters at the Alphabet Parade! ❤️🖤🤍

Day 3 of Goodies with Grands was GRAND! ❤️

Over the past three days, we welcomed 361 grandparents to Bethel! Thank you for making this special event so GRAND. We think you are pretty GRAND, too!

What an AMAZING start to September! 🍎✨ Our halls have been buzzing with excitement thanks to our 📚 Book Fair, the joy of having our wonderful Grandparents in the building, our youngest Mathematicians practicing skills, and our Cardinals SOARING through Science! 🔬🚀🥼

Our students have been diving into some awesome hands-on science experiments; exploring, discovering, asking questions, and having FUN while learning! 🧪🧠✨

A BIG SHOUTOUT to our incredible Safety Patrols! ⭐🦺 Thank you for being responsible leaders, helping keep our school safe, and showing what it means to be a true Cardinal role model! 💝

On Tuesday, GCS Superintendent Dr. Burke Royster presented the “State of the District” at Mauldin High School to area principals and community members. He shared updates on student safety, achievement, and the GCS Advantage—highlighting the incredible opportunities available to students across Greenville County Schools!

Bethel was proudly represented by proud principal Nurit’ Sexton, PTA President Jennifer Rutledge, SIC Member Viv Black, and Community Partner/PIC Teacher Support Heather Lang. We are grateful for their continued partnership, support, and commitment to our Cardinals!

We’re celebrating TWO outstanding students from EACH grade level who showed up, stood out, and made August AMAZING! 💪📚✨

Each student received an All-Star Student Certificate 🏅 and a special prize 🎁 as a well-deserved celebration of their hard work, positive attitude, and all-around awesomeness!
