Day ✌️ at Rudolph Gordon School, and the smiles just keep coming! πŸ’šπŸŠ

Our second day together was filled with familiar faces, fun activities, new connections, andβ€”most importantlyβ€”lots of learning together. There’s something pretty special about seeing our Gators settle back into their routines and our school come alive again!

Our middle school students also gathered for their first assembly of the year, where we challenged them to define the middle school experience they want to create. Their focus for the year: β€œOwn it. Together.”

Together, we talked about what it means to lead with integrity, make responsible decisions, support one another, and recognize that each of us plays a role in making Rudolph Gordon the very best school it can be. Being a K–8 school means our older students have an incredible opportunity to lead by exampleβ€”and we can’t wait to watch them step into that responsibility this year.

Two days in, and we already know it’s going to be a GREAT year to be a gator! πŸ’š 🐊 πŸ–€

πŸ₯Ή Cue the tears… πŸ’šπŸŠ

Today was a day of firsts - and a reminder of just how special it is to be a K-8 school.

For our kindergartners, it was their very first day at Rudolph Gordon School. New classrooms, new friends, and the beginning of a story that will unfold over the next nine years.

For our 8th graders, it was their last first day at RGSβ€”a milestone that somehow arrived far too quickly.

From our youngest learners to our oldest, every moment we share together becomes part of our RGS story. The friendships. The traditions. The teachers who help them grow. The hallways that become familiar. The little moments that eventually become the big memories.

That’s the beauty of K–8. They grow up here. πŸ’š

Today was the very best first day of school, and we couldn’t be more excited for the year ahead.

Here’s to another year of learning, growing, and making memories together.

πŸ’š Once a Gator, always a Gator. 🐊
