Mrs. Paul found so much joy of meeting my sweet new students while also welcoming back so many of my former “babies.” Seeing how much they have grown—and knowing I get to begin a brand-new journey with another wonderful group—makes this day incredibly special.

🎉 Congratulations to Kaitlyn Oaks, our 2026–2027 Monarch Elementary Teacher of the Year, and Emily Patterson, recipient of Monarch’s First Class Teacher Award!

These amazing educators represent the very best of Monarch. Their dedication, compassion, and passion for helping every student learn, grow, and succeed are evident in all they do each day. They create meaningful learning experiences, build lasting relationships, and inspire students to reach their full potential.

We are incredibly proud to have Miss Oaks and Miss Patterson representing Monarch, and our students are truly fortunate to learn from such exceptional teachers. Thank you both for the positive impact you make on our school community every single day!

A huge thank you to our wonderful PTA for treating our staff to a delicious welcome-back breakfast! ❤️ We wrapped up our first day together with a sweet surprise from One Dessert—a perfect way to celebrate the start of a new year! 🍩🎉
