This summer I had the wonderful opportunity to be interviewed by for the Topmusic Piano Podcast. It was a great conversation where I got to share some tenets of my teaching philosophy, how group lessons has benefited my students, and even some dreams for the future of the studio. Check it out on my website, pinned at the top of the studio newsletter!

Motivation Monday!
Can you guess this song? 🥀💛 When this working mom of 2 reached out almost exactly 2 years ago, she was looking to learn piano as a fun hobby, something she could do just for herself. Because of her commitment to attending regularly and carving out a few minutes every day to practice, she has finished her first book and is playing Disney songs and classical music and Beatles tunes with rhythm, feeling, and having so much fun! She also invited her kids along and now they are excelling at piano after 1 year and they all enjoy playing together at home. Music making is something the whole family can take part in and it’s been thrilling to watch this family “crescendo”, thanks to this mom for taking that first step into the studio! So proud of you!!

Hey, Crescendo Community!
It's BRING A FRIEND week in group piano!
You can invite a sibling, a friend, a neighbor or a family member as long as they are between the ages of 7-14. No piano experience necessary!
In group piano lessons this week, you'll get to show your friend how to play a song or scale you are learning, you'll perform for the class, and we'll all be headed outside to play a music theory game that includes WATER BALLOONS!

See you then!
